Prince Walker: Three boys arrested after teenager killed
- Published
Three 16-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of the murder of a teenager who was stabbed to death.
Prince Walker, aged 17, was killed on Raby Street in Moss Side, Manchester, on Thursday 4 April, days before his 18th birthday.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said the boys had been held in custody.
Det Ch Insp Neil Higginson said the arrests were a "huge step forward" in the force's investigation into the "shocking and tragic case".
"We are working relentlessly to capture a picture of what happened in the events leading up to Prince's death last week," he said.
The boys were arrested earlier on Tuesday, on what would have been Prince Walker's 18th birthday, after officers searched properties in the area.
