Eye woman bitten on bum by 'out of control' dog

A runner was bitten on her bottom by an "out of control" dog, police said.

The victim was at Eye Airfield Industrial Estate, at 6:15 GMT on Monday, when she was approached by two German shepherds, and one labrador, who were not on leads.

One of the German shepherds bit her and she sustained an injury that required antibiotics, Suffolk Police, external said.

The force would like to speak to the dogs' owner, who was described as a white woman in her 70s.

A police spokesperson said: "The victim was out for a run when she was approached by three dogs that were off their leads and out of control, one of which bit her on the bottom causing an injury that required antibiotics."

They added: "The owner of the dogs was a woman who is described as white, aged in her 70s, approximately 5ft 4in tall, and with blonde hair."

Police urged anyone who witnessed the incident to get in touch, external.
