A woman bludgeoned to death outside her home in Surrey has been described as a "wonderful person, loving mother and devoted friend" by her family.

The body of 50-year-old antiques specialist Robyn Mercer was found in Walton Road, West Molesey, on Monday.

In a statement, relatives of the mother-of-two said: "We are all utterly devastated to have lost Robyn."

Two men, both from West Molesey, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody.

Surrey Police said a 25-year-old man was arrested on Thursday morning, and a 52-year-old man was arrested on Monday.

A post-mortem examination revealed Ms Mercer, who worked at JH Bourdon-Smith in Mayfair, west London, died from multiple blows to the head.

She was described by fellow art and antique specialists as an "extremely kind-hearted lady".
