The murder of a mother-of-two whose body was found outside her home six months ago will feature on the BBC's Crimewatch programme later.

Antiques dealer Robyn Mercer died from multiple blows to the head in West Molesey in Surrey in March. She was found dead in Walton Road.

Three men and two women remain on bail in connection with the death.

Det Ch Insp Paul Rymarz said work to identify her attackers continued and appealed for information.

He said the appeal later would include an update on CCTV footage and an account of how Surrey Police had "been working tirelessly" to bring Ms Mercer's killers to justice.

Out of the five people who were arrested, two men were held on suspicion of murder and conspiracy to burgle and one was suspected of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

The Crimewatch appeal will also include an interview with Ms Mercer's employer.

The 50-year-old, a specialist in antique silver, worked at JH Bourdon-Smith in Mayfair, London.

Edward Bourdon-Smith said: "She's got two lovely children who have lost their mother, and lots of lovely friends who have lost her.

"She was very important to all of us and we've all been very upset.

"That would be a very good thing if whoever was responsible was caught - for the closure of the family and for ourselves actually."

Crimewatch will be shown on BBC One at 21:00 BST on Monday 12 September.
