NUT's Christine Blower on pay and sacking teachers

It was a "nonsense to be employing people who don't have qualified teacher status" said the general secretary of the National Union of Teachers.

Christine Blower spoke to Andrew Neil about the union's stance on education reforms, private and comprehensive schools, and sacking under-performing teachers.

She also said her salary was "nothing like" the reported £159,000 figure.
