University student numbers rise despite higher fees in England

Student applications fell by almost 60,000 as the maximum charge rose to £9,000 per year in England last year, but numbers have risen this year.

The Daily Politics looked at the new systems for higher education and reaction to the increased costs, new ways to repay the money, and the chances of further rises.
