Labour councillors in Aberdeen have said they are prepared to look at the issue of a new road bridge over the River Don again.

The party has long been opposed to the route currently planned at Tillydrone.

Following talks with their Conservative and independent coalition partners on administration priorities, the Labour group said it was prepared to reconsider the issue.

Supporters of the project insisted the bridge would ease traffic congestion.
