Hamilton rebuked for using 'sexual innuendo' in assembly
UKIP group leader Neil Hamilton has been rebuked for using "sexist language" and "sexual innuendo" in the Senedd.
In his maiden speech, last Wednesday, Mr Hamilton described two senior female AMs as "political concubines" in First Minister Carwyn Jones's "harem".
The UKIP AM was referring to Plaid Cymru leader Leanne Wood and Liberal Democrat AM Kirsty Williams.
On Tuesday, assembly Presiding Officer Elin Jones said she found the "insult of the integrity of other members through sexist language and sexual innuendo to be unacceptable".
Ms Jones told AMs Mr Hamilton had accepted her view on the matter.
