Teenager's near-miss with train caught on video
Network Rail has warned people to take care near tracks after video showed a teenager narrowly avoiding being hit by a train.
He is seen approaching the line and waiting for the oncoming Greater Anglia service before stepping back just before it speeds past.
It happened near Diss station on 13 October and, in response, Network Rail said such behaviour happened "all too often".
Health and safety manager Shenel Bullock said: "Please don't take the chance, even if it seems like you're in control, because one tiny misjudgement or slip could easily lead to tragic consequences."
The organisation also urged people not to be distracted by looking at screens or wearing headphones while walking over tracks, following eight accidental fatalities at crossings across the country in a year.
