How schools can help bereaved pupils with grief

Bereaved pupils have said support from their schools is key to helping them with their grief.

Some teenagers spoke to BBC News NI about their experiences at an event run for schools by the Marie Curie charity.

Emma, who lost her brother when she was four, said it can be "overwhelming" to deal with grief alongside school work.

She said it makes a big difference "if teachers can just be there" and "help the pupil catch up".
