Watch: Cyclist's near miss as car crashes off road

Video captured the moment a car skidded sideways along a road, narrowly missing a cyclist, before crashing and overturning in some hedges.

George Fox, from Rushden, Northamptonshire, was cycling on Sywell Road in Mears Ashby, near Wellingborough, on Thursday.

The 32-year-old cycling coach said there was "relief more than anything" after the incident, which was recorded by his student.

A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said the crash "involved three cars - a blue Volvo V50, a white Suzuki Swift, and a grey Fiat 500" and "no-one was seriously injured".
