Watch: Humpback whale spotted off the Norfolk coast

A humpback whale has been filmed by a fisherman two miles off the coast of Norfolk.

It was spotted by Andrew Williamson while he was fishing for herring off Winterton-on-Sea on 6 November.

"It just made me feel so emotional," he said.

"When you see these creatures it's usually on TV watching David Attenborough; it was just magical — something I'll really treasure."

The identification of the species of whale was confirmed by British Divers Marine Rescue which said it was monitoring the mammal.
