Ipswich Witches win British Speedway title

Ipswich Witches have won the British Speedway Premiership title for the first time in 27 years.

Witches captain Danny King said: "I'm speechless. I'm just so happy for everyone."

The final went down to the last race as the Witches won 46-43 (93-86) against Leicester Lions in front of a huge home crowd at Foxhall Stadium, Ipswich.

The Lions had won on two of their last four trips to Suffolk, adding to the tension ahead of the match-up.
