Team GB rower Katherine Grainger (right) has won her fifth medal at her fifth Olympic Games, after getting silver in the double sculls with Victoria Thornley.

At London 2012, she won the double sculls event with Anna Watkins. It was fourth time lucky for the rower after she narrowly missed out on gold in the previous three Olympics...

She won silver in the quadruple sculls back in 2008. Here she is during an open top bus parade in Edinburgh with fellow Scottish Olympians after the Beijing Games.

The olive wreaths must mean it's Athens 2004. This time she won silver in the coxless pair event with Cath Bishop.

Back in 2000 at the Sydney Olympics, she won her first Olympic medal - a silver in the women's quadruple sculls - alongside Guin Batten, Gillian Lindsay and Miriam Batten.
