Trick or treat?! How will you be dressing up - spooky or nice?

Halloween is RIGHT around the corner! Boo!

That means pumpkin carving, trick or treating and of course - dressing up!

From ghosts, to witches, to dragons, or maybe even a KPop Demon Hunter there are SO many options when it comes to choosing what to dress up as.

We want to know what you will be wearing this Halloween. Will it be a scary mask, a homemade costume, or something cool you have found out shopping?

Why do people dress up for Halloween?

It's common to see people dressing up in costumes on Halloween, with many choosing creepy outfits like ghosts or skeletons.

Spooky outfits were worn during Samhain (the festival that Halloween originates from) as they were believed to scare away any evil spirits lurking in the shadows of the celebrations.

People thought if you wore a scary mask or disguise then the ghosts hopefully wouldn't pick on you.

Today not everyone wears scary costumes on Halloween.

Some people prefer to choose their favourite character from a movie or book, or maybe a superhero.
