Astronauts have held the first ever pizza party in space!

There's been a historic event in space, the International Space Station has hosted it's first ever pizza party!

It's all thanks to Italian astronaut Paolo Nespoli. He mentioned that he was really missing his favourite food Pizza, so NASA decided to send him up the ingredients.

After making the pizzas, the six astronauts tossed and twirled them like floating Frisbees or as commander Randy Bresnik described them 'flying saucers of the edible kind'.

Houston I think we'll have a pepperoni!
