Australian kids explain Aboriginal culture

Newsround has been speaking to some children in Australia about their Aboriginal culture.

Aboriginal people are the first people who lived in Australia having been in the country for tens of thousands of years before the first European settlers.

Their culture was a big influence in the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games, which is being held in Australia's Gold Coast.

Sharnae, Liam and Timana show us around a cultural centre called Tjapukai to explain more about Aboriginal history and culture.
