After shaking hands on the border, the two leaders symbolically stepped into each country. Here they are stepping into North Korea.

The two leaders were greeted by a huge traditional military display.

People at the summit wore traditional Korean clothes, which are part of both country's history, rather than modern military uniforms from each country. It represented that the two countries have lots of things in common, despite recent problems.

The meeting at the Bhukasan Peace House was held in a room with a huge picture of North Korea's Mount Geumgangsan, a mountain range important to Koreans from the North and South.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un even signed the guest book at the Peace House. His note says: "A new history begins now - at the starting point of history and the era of peace."

However, the two leaders separated for lunch. This is Kim Jong-un being driven back to the north side. Maybe they'll have lunch together next time? (And yes... those are his bodyguards running alongside the car)
