Sabrina Carpenter smashes another music record

Sabrina Carpenter has broken yet another music record.

The singer has now spent more weeks at number one in a year in the UK than any other female artist.

A number one track means it's the most listened to, or streamed, song that week in the UK music chart.

This year, across three different songs, Sabrina Carpenter has been at the number one spot for a whopping 19 weeks.

Why is Sabrina Carpenter so popular?

Sabrina Carpenter is not new to fame at all - she already broke a big UK chart record and her popular track Espresso was named 2024's 'Song of the Summer'.

She's become especially popular in the past year after releasing her album Short 'n Sweet. She also played onstage with Taylor Swift, opening for her during The Eras Tour.

However, Sabrina Carpenter hasn't always been a musician. She started off as an actor, starring in children's films and TV.
