It was a Cruel Summer for non-Swiftie fans as the pop superstar touched down in the UK for her Eras Tour takeover.

It made a massive impression and broke records all over the place, including at Wembley Stadium.

There she broke the record for a solo artist playing the most dates at a venue in a single tour, taking to the stage eight times. This record was held jointly with the band Take That.

But now Coldplay are set to play 10 dates there for their 2025 tour - overtaking the current record by two gigs. Hopefully she'll manage to Shake It Off!

What records does Taylor Swift still hold at Wembley Stadium?

Coldplay originally announced a six-night run at the stadium next August, but added four extra shows in September due to "phenomenal demand" during a fan-only presale on Thursday morning.

Tay Tay still holds the records for the most dates by a solo artist, and by an international artist - overtaking Michael Jackson during her Eras Tour.

Her last show at Wembley included an acoustic set at her piano, with the live debut of So Long, London, from her latest album The Tortured Poets Department.

What sort of impact did the Eras Tour have?

The tour made its way across Europe all summer; with the Wembley finale marking the 131st date of her two-year trek.

In the UK alone, she played to almost 1.2 million people, generating an estimated £1bn for the country's economy.

Liverpool put on an outdoor art exhibition inspired by the singer's music.

And a team of geophysicists in Edinburgh even recorded seismic waves generated by fans dancing at Murrayfield Stadium, which made the ground move during the song Ready For It? Literally, rocking the world!
