What's got Buzz and Woody worried in Toy Story 5?

The first sneak peek at Toy Story 5 has been revealed in a new teaser trailer.

That's right, Woody, Buzz, Jessie and the gang are back for the fifth time in a new Disney Pixar movie.

It's been almost 30 years since the first Toy Story movie came out in the UK, and now the fifth movie is set for release in June 2026.

But what is the new movie about, and how does it follow on from the fourth movie? We've been taking a look...

What do we know about Toy Story 5 so far?

Friend or foe?! Will Lilypad be a villain or a pal in Toy Story 5?

In the new teaser trailer we hear that Bonnie - the little girl who Andy gifted his Toys to at the end of the third movie - has a package.

We then see Rex, Slinky Dog, Forky, Mr and Mrs Potato head, Jessie and Bullseye, the green aliens and Buzz and Woody looking on nervously as Bonnie opens the package.

Inside the package is a tablet-like toy called Lilypad, which comes to life as she opens it.

So it seems like the story in Toy Story 5 will focus on Bonnie's relationship with traditional and digital toys.

Jessie is still wearing Woody's Sheriff badge

One question that hasn't been answered in the new teaser trailer, is how Woody arrived back at Bonnie's after he decided to go on an adventure with Bo Peep at the end of the fourth movie.

However, before he left he gave Jessie his Sheriff badge, which she can be seen wearing in the new trailer.
