Why are we seeing more rats in the UK?

Rats are known for roaming around cities and in many places around the world, their numbers are increasing.

A study of 16 world cities found climate change is playing a role, with 11 of them seeing a big increase in rat numbers over the years.

But human activities and more people moving into cities is also having an impact on rat populations.
