Meet Clem Reinkemeyer, the owner of the world's largest brick collection, which has now won a Guinness World Record.
He's been laying the groundwork of his huge stash for 40 years, collecting a whopping 8,882 bricks from all across the US and beyond.

He's put his world record certificate in his barn full of bricks
Clem's daughter and her husband surprised him by applying for a world record in secret.
They got a group of friends together to count the bricks while he was away, and then after applying, presented him with the certificate, much to his delight.
"I got back in town, and it was a big surprise, and I'm very happy to have this certificate," he told Guinness World Records.

The 87-year-old great-grandfather is from Tulsa, which is in the state of Oklahoma.
He has quite a few bricks from his home state, such as misspelled ones with the 'S' written backwards.
But he says that these are sometimes the most valuable: "Sometimes they are [more expensive than the correctly spelled ones]," he said.
And while he doesn't know why, he thinks "Oklahoma has a history of the most misspelled bricks".

Bricks often have the name of the place they're being laid written on them or carved in
One of his favourites is made by a company that used to be based where the Pentagon now stands in Washington D.C.
The Pentagon is a famous US military building.
"There may be some of these under the Pentagon," he said. "But I think that this is one of a kind."

The Pentagon is, you guessed it, in the shape of a pentagon
He doesn't just have bricks from America though - there are some from Germany, Greece, Ireland and New Zealand on the shelves in his big barn house.
And he has some really old ones, too. One Roman brick he owns is from the year 100 AD, making it over 2,000 years old.
Clem says he understands his hobby may not be for everyone.
"It's unusual," he said. "But I like it."
