Before the game even started, records had been broken. It was announced that Euro 2025 has been the most attended Women's Euro ever, with over 650,000 fans packing stadiums across Switzerland for the tournament.

Prince William took Princess Charlotte along to watch the match and could be seen celebrating after Chloe Kelly's penalty found the back of the net (L). Prince William also posted the picture on the right to his social media with the caption: "CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE!". It was taken as he and Charlotte looked on while the Lionesses lifted the trophy.

Did you paint your face for the final? Before the game, loads of people were seen painting the St George's flag on their face to show support for the Lionesses. Let's hope that washes off!

Would it have been an England game without it going to penalties? The tension in the air was thick as the players stepped up to the mark to try and get the ball past the keeper. England's Niamh Charles was one of the England players to score during the shootout.

Arguably the stand out England players from this year's tournament, Chloe Kelly and Michelle Agyemang laid in the gold and silver ticker tape with the trophy they've worked so hard to achieve.

London's Tower Bridge was lit up in red, white and blue to celebrate the Lionesses' win.

Now this is what we like to see. They might be supporting opposing sides, but one thing they can agree on is their love for football.

England fans in Switzerland weren't the only ones celebrating. Watch parties up and down the country were filled with a sea of red, white and blue as the Lionesses brought it home once more.

The celebrations at home are likely to continue for a while. This Great Western Train has been decorated after the win as staff members celebrate.

Manager Sarina Wiegman celebrates with the players. Amazingly she's won the last three Euros - two with England and one with her home country of the Netherlands back in 2017. The Lionesses deserve a long rest after all that excitement and hard work!
