The line-up for both the men's and women's League Cup finals are now complete.

The two men's semi-finals saw Newcastle United and Arsenal - and Liverpool and Spurs - battling it out for a spot in next month's final at Wembley.

In the women's game, Chelsea were up against West Ham, while Manchester City faced Arsenal in their semi-final matches.

But who made it through? Keep reading to find out.

Newcastle went into their game with Arsenal with a 2-0 advantage from the semi-final first leg.

And they completed the second part of the assignment with another 2-0 win in front of a home crowd at St James Park thanks to goals from Jacob Murphy and Anthony Gordon.

Newcastle are now one step closer to winning their first major domestic trophy in 70 years.

Their last domestic piece of silverware was the FA Cup in 1955.

In the other semi-final, Tottenham had a 1-0 lead over Liverpool from their first leg match.

But it was a night to forget for the North London side, as they were thrashed 4-0 by the Reds at Anfield.

Goals from Cody Gakpo, Dominik Szoboszlai, Virgil van Dijk as well as a penalty from Mo Salah meant that it is Liverpool who are through to their first final since Arne Slot took over as manager at the start of the season.

Spurs failed to register a single shot on target during the match, the first time that has ever happened in a match under manager Ange Postecoglou.

Liverpool, who won the cup last season under Jurgen Klopp, will meet Newcastle in the final at London's Wembley stadium on Sunday 16 March.

Like Liverpool in the Premier League, Chelsea Women are also having a fantastic season.

They sit at the top of the WSL with a seven point lead, and they are also in the latter stages of the Champions League and FA Cup.

And they have now secured their spot in their first final of the season too.

Two first half goals from Johanna Rytting Kaneryd and Sjoeke Nüsken gave the Blues a 2-0 win over West Ham.

The Women's Super League leaders have now gone 22 games unbeaten this season and remain on track for a historic quadruple of trophies.

The second semi-final saw Arsenal face Manchester City, just five days after the North London side beat City 4-3 in their thrilling WSL match.

But it was Manchester City who got revenge, with two goals from Mary Fowler, including a 95th-minute winner, which secured a 2-1 win for City.

The Gunners had equalised early in the second half through a Mariona Caldentey penalty after City's opening goal from Fowler, but her last-minute winner booked their spot in the Women's League Cup final in dramatic style.

Manchester City will play Chelsea in the final on Saturday 15 March at Derby County's Pride Park stadium.
