Grey seal pup numbers in Norfolk could break record
It could be a record-breaking year for seal pups in the UK.
More than 1,500 grey seal pups have already been born at Blakeney Point in Norfolk, on the east coast of England.
That almost tops the number born during last year's breeding season, which runs until January.
Over the past 10 years, seal pup numbers there have grown and grown.
It's not clear exactly why, but it could be down to the sheltered warm sand or that not many humans go here.
