The UK's first ever Indoor Rowing Championships

Around 1,300 rowers took part in the UK's first Indoor Rowing Championships.

The event was held in the Olympic Velodrome in London.

The championships allow people to row, without the need for a boat, by using special rowing machines.

Participants at the event ranged from Olympic gold medallists, like Alex Gregory and Katherine Grainger, to regular gym-users and school kids.

The oldest competitor was an 89-year-old man, and the youngest was 12-year-old Barnaby, who think's he might like to be an Olympic rower in the future!
