Victoria Baldesarra wasn't always happy with her body

Victoria Baldesarra, who plays Michelle in The Next Step says she hasn't always felt comfortable about her body.

She says she had many body image issues when she was growing up.

She told the Newsround special programme Being Me that she was self conscious about her developing body when she was dancing and competing in competitions.

She says it's only as she got older she learned to be kinder to herself.
