Spectacular Northern Lights timelapse

The Northern Lights - or Aurora Borealis - were visible across Wales on Wednesday night.

The dazzling light show is caused by the interaction of charged particles and the Earth's magnetic field and atmosphere.

This timelapse video, by Richard Jones, was taken on top of Twyn Y Gaer in the Brecon Beacons, overlooking the hills towards Sennybridge, Powys.
