Firefighters battle wildfires in California in America

Fire crews have stopped the spread of a wildfire that has been raging for days in California in America.

The fire started late on Friday night with winds of up to 50 mph pushing the flames down hills and over roads.

About 600 firefighters fought the blaze with help from water-dropping helicopters.

Dozens of homes in the north west of Los Angeles had to be evacuated and roads were closed.

Roads are now open and no-one has been badly hurt.

Take a look at the fire.
