Demand for flat-faced dogs could damage their health

Bulldogs, pugs and other types of flat-faced dogs are becoming more and more popular as pets.

People find their "squashed" faces and wrinkled noses cute.

But vets are warning that increased demand for these types of flat-faced dogs could be harming their health.

Many of these dogs suffer with breathing problems because of the shape of their noses and some owners are choosing to abandon them rather than pay vets bills.
