Hurricane Irma reaches strongest type, category 5

After 12 years with no major hurricane, America may end up having two in just a few weeks.

Last month Harvey hit Texas.

Now Hurricane Irma is expected to arrive in Florida by the weekend.

BBC weather reporter Phil Avery says Irma is now a category 5 storm - the strongest there is.
