A pool isn't normally where you'd expect to find surfers.

But this isn't just any pool! It's got a wave machine.

It's a back up for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.

If the sea's too calm then there's no waves for the surfers to ride, so they can use these waves instead.
