Viv Anderson calls for more opportunities for black coaches in England

England's first black international footballer has told Newsround that "nothing's changed in 20 years" for black and ethnic managers hoping to coach in the Premier League.

Speaking ahead of the 40th anniversary of his debut for England, Viv Anderson said more needs to be done to help black coaches into the game.

Since 1990, just five black ex-England players have gone into management.

The Football Association said that "huge strides have been made in recent years to ensure that English football is a diverse and inclusive game."
