Brexit: Why these kids want MPs to get on with Brexit

On 10 September 2019, MPs voted against the Prime Minister Boris Johnson's call for a general election - for a second time.

Parliament has also been suspended - or prorogued - until 14 October.

It's after Members of Parliament - including some from the prime minister's own party - voted for a law, or bill, which means that if he can't get a deal with EU leaders, Mr Johnson would have to ask for an extension to the deadine of October 31st. But Mr Johnson says he wants the UK to leave the EU on 31 October, with or without a deal.

There are still loads of different views on Brexit: some people want to leave right away, some people want to leave once the UK has a deal with the EU, and others want to cancel Brexit altogether.

We met these school kids on a trip to Parliament and asked them what they thought about what was going on.
