Bristol International Balloon Fiesta 2023: Hot air balloon launch opens festival

The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta begins later this week, and in preparation lots of hot air balloons have launched into the skies.

A selection of colourful balloons took off from Ashton Court Estate to take in the sunny views of Bristol.

Spectators can expect more balloon displays from Thursday evening onwards - when the Balloon Fiesta officially begins.
