World leaders have been meeting in the country of Azerbaijan over the past two weeks to talk about how to deal with global warming.

The COP29 climate change conference officially ended yesterday but is now running a day over as talks continue.

Global warming is the rise in the planet's average temperature, and scientists say that humans are the main cause of this happening.

Leaders are trying to come to an agreement about how much money richer nations should pay to developing countries to help them tackle climate change.

Newsround heard from two children from Venatu and South Sudan who have seen the impact of climate change where they live and have been at COP to raise the issues that matter to them.
