New AI tech helping protect snow leopards in Pakistan
New technology is being used in Pakistan to help protect snow leopards.
Conservationists say tracking and documenting them is very important because their survival is vital to the mountain ecosystem.
They hunt ibex and sheep, which can help stop overgrazing, but they can also prey on animals belonging to farmers in villages.
Farmers have hunted the leopards to stop them eating their flocks.
Now a new AI technology has been set up to warn the farmers that snow leopards are in the area so they can protect their livestock.
