Smelly science - the new zoo lab studying animal poo
A new laboratory has opened up at Chester Zoo, in the north west of England.
The International Centre for Zoo Science will give researchers the chance to study some of the world's most endangered species.
The centre is also home to Europe's largest wildlife endocrinology lab - which analyses hormones extracted from a plentiful substance found in the zoo - poo.
BBC Technology reporter Alasdair Keane went along to get stuck in.
