Doctor Who superfans get storytelling tips from head writer Russell T Davies

The final episode of Doctor Who drops on iPlayer first thing on Saturday 22 June, bringing a series full of wild adventures to a conclusion.

But how does head writer Russell T Davies come up with his ideas for the Doctor and their companion?

Newsrounders and Whovian sisters Mia and Talia spoke to Russell before the series finale, where they asked him about his top storytelling tips and even got to pitch their own episode idea!

They also brought with them their own design for a Doctor Who monster, which Russell named Mi-Talia after them!
