Jake Cassidy: Oldham Athletic bring in ex-Wolves striker

Jake Cassidy scored four goals in his 37 appearances last season

League One side Oldham have signed striker Jake Cassidy after his release by Wolves on a two-year deal.

The 22-year-old had loan spells at Notts County and Southend last season and previously had three separate stints at Tranmere Rovers.

"I'm delighted to get things finalised as it's been in the pipeline for quite a while," he told the club website., external

He is new Oldham boss Darren Kelly's third signing of the summer after midfielders Lee Croft and George Green.

Cassidy's deal also includes the option of a further year with the Latics.
