Leeds have signed Barnsley goalkeeper Ross Turnbull on a two-year contract.

The former England youth international, 30, joined Barnsley last July from Doncaster, in what was his third spell at Oakwell.

He began his career at Middlesborough, and had spells with Darlington, Bradford, Crewe, Cardiff and Chelsea before joining Doncaster in 2013.

Despite missing the latter half of the season with a back injury, Turnbull made 27 appearances for Barnsley.
