Kurtley Beale: Australia back not selected for autumn Tests
- Published
Kurtley Beale has not been selected for Australia's autumn internationals, despite being eligible after breaching their code of conduct.
The versatile back was fined £24,600 for sending an offensive picture message to a female ex-team official.
He missed two Tests against Argentina and New Zealand while he awaited the outcome of a disciplinary tribunal.
Australia will play internationals in November against the Barbarians, Wales, France, Ireland and England.
Beale, 25, was eligible for selection after the Australian Rugby Union (ARU) fined him on Friday.
He admitted sending an offensive text to the Wallabies' former business manager Di Patston on 9 June, but the ARU tribunal failed to find evidence he sent a second more offensive message.
Australia's 33-man squad flew out before Beale's hearing had finished.
But, upon hearing the outcome while en route, new coach Michael Cheika declined the opportunity to add Beale to the tour party.
