West Ham are planning a fresh bid for their former striker Demba Ba, 28, who is out of favour at Chelsea. The Hammers tried to sign Ba in January.

Everton are considering a move to bring Los Angeles Galaxy striker Landon Donovan, 31, back to Goodison Park for a third loan spell in the new year.
Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott, 31, who is in the final year of his contract, claims he is not being given a chance by Manuel Pellegrini and could seek a move in January.

Turkish side Trabzonspor are eyeing a move for Fulham's Bulgarian striker Dimitar Berbatov, 32, when the January transfer window opens.
OTHER GOSSIP
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has criticised striker Romelu Lukaku, 20, who reportedly requested a transfer hours after his decisive penalty miss in the Uefa Super Cup final against Bayern Munich in August. Lukaku is currently on loan at Everton.

A Tromso fan has claimed that he was moved from his seat by security guards for chanting "you're getting sacked in the morning" at Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas during their Europa League tie in Norway on Thursday.
