Summary

  1. field goal

Field goal - Billspublished at 18:37 BST 14 September

Buffalo Bills 10-0 New York Jets

Matt Prater with a much more regulation 28-yard field goal here than the one he made at the death of that thriller last week. Three points off the turnover and already this looks like being the comfortable Buffalo win many expected.

  2. touchdown

    Touchdown - 49erspublished at 18:37 BST 14 September

San Francisco 49ers 6-0 New Orleans Saints

A first NFL touchdown for tight end Luke Farrell in place of the absent George Kittle.

Farrell was found by Mac Jones and with a little shuffle, makes his way into the end zone for a 12-yard touchdown and a 49ers lead.

  3. field goal

Field goal - Ravenspublished at 18:32 BST 14 September

    Cleveland Browns 0-3 Baltimore Ravens

In a NFC North battle between two opening round losing teams, Tyler Loop opens the scoring with a 43-yard field goal.

A tense affair so far in Baltimore.

  4. touchdown

Touchdown - Patriotspublished at 18:31 BST 14 September

New England Patriots 12-0 Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins defensive woes have been compounded once more.

Drake Maye's passing has been excellent and he finds Kayshon Boutte for a 16-yard touchdown.

Two drives, two touchdowns so far for the Patriots, but the extra-point goes begging once more.

  5. field goal

Field goals - Steelers & Giantspublished at 18:30 BST 14 September

Aaron Rodgers stalls on his first drive at home this season, so Chris Boswell has to send over a field goal from 48 yards to get the Steelers on the board.

Russell Wilson hit Wandale Robinson for a huge 50-yard gain, but the Giants laboured after that and an extended 21-play drive results in just a 38-yard field goal from Graham Gano.

  6. Sack - Saintspublished at 18:28 BST 14 September

San Francisco 49ers 0-0 New Orleans Saints

With no Brock Purdy for the 49ers, Mac Jones is the quarterback today.

He has completed just one of his five passing attempts so far, a 15-yarder to Ricky Pearsall.

Prior to that, Jones was sacked five yards by defensive end Carl Granderson.

  7. Fumble!published at 18:25 BST 14 September

Buffalo Bills 7-0 New York Jets

After James Cook gave BUffalo the lead, the Jets needs a response, but they didn't get one as Justin Fields fumbled after a hit from Joey Bosa, and the Bills take over in great field position and looking for a two touchdown lead early.

  8. touchdown

Touchdown - Bearspublished at 18:22 BST 14 September

    Chicago Bears 7-7 Detroit Lions

We've got a game on our hands in Detroit as the Bears hit back right away - Caleb Williams firing a pass to Rome Odunze who then rumbles on 28 yards to take it to the house.

A nice combination of speed, strength and and nice little stutter step late on from the second year wideout. Game on!

  10. touchdown

Touchdown - Jaguarspublished at 18:18 BST 14 September

    Jacksonville Jaguars 7-0 Cincinnati Bengals

Dyami Brown tiptoes into the back of the end zoner to take a running catch from Trevor Lawrence to give the Jaguars the early lead in Cincinnati. Not many are giving the Jags any chance today but that's a nice start.

  11. Missed field goal - Saintspublished at 18:17 BST 14 September

San Francisco 49ers 0-0 New Orleans Saints

The Saints had the chance to take a 3-0 lead at the 49ers with a 40-yard field goal.

Kicker Blake Grupe's kick flew across the posts and wide. Scoreless it remains.

  12. touchdown

Touchdown - Seahawkspublished at 18:15 BST 14 September

    Pittsburgh Steelers 0-7 Seattle Seahawks

Seattle strike first in Pittsburgh as Sam Darnold hits Tory Horton for a 21-yard touchdown.

Can Aaron Rodgers make an immediate response?

  13. touchdown

Touchdown - Ramspublished at 18:15 BST 14 September

Los Angeles Rams 7-0 Tennessee Titans

On fourth and one, the Los Angeles Rams go for it 45 yards away from the end zone.

Puka Nacua rushed and not only got the yard needed, but ran unchallenged for 44 more to give the Rams a lead in Tennessee.

It is only the second rushing touchdown of Nacua's career.

  14. touchdown

Touchdown - Patriotspublished at 18:12 BST 14 September

New England Patriots 6-0 Miami Dolphins

The New England Patriots have the first score against the Miami Dolphins.

Three passes of 10+ yards in a row from Drake Maye take the visitors up field before wide receiver Mack Hollins takes an eight-yard catch in the end zone.

A first touchdown in New England colours for Hollins.

  15. touchdown

Touchdown - Lionspublished at 18:10 BST 14 September

    Chicago Bears 0-7 Detroit Lions

Detroit are motoring here, pardon the pun! Jahmyr Gibbs, the leading touchdown scorer last season, gets his first of the season as the strides in at the left corner.

Gibbs had just 19 yards last week but he's made an instant impact in a perfect start for the Lions.

  16. No Purdy or Kittle for the 49erspublished at 18:07 BST 14 September

San Francisco 49ers 0-0 New Orleans Saints

The San Francisco 49ers are in New Orelans to face the Saints.

Heading in with an 1-0 record after a narrow win over the New Orleans Saints last weekend, the 49ers are without quarterback Brock Purdy and tight end George Kittle.

Both men are absent through injury.

  17. Fast start in Detroitpublished at 18:06 BST 14 September

    Chicago Bears 0-0 Detroit Lions

That didn't take long - Jared Goff hits Amon-Ra St Brown for a 34-yard catch and run as Detroit make a flying start on the very first play of the game at Ford Field.

Chicago's head coach Ben Johnson was the offensive coordinator in Detroit last year as they were the top scorers in the NFL, and after a poor season opener last week that's a great start for the Lions.
