Summary

  1. Flags everywhere!published at 19:17 BST 14 September

New York Giants 13-3 Dallas Cowboys

Wow, a lot to unpick in Dallas with multiple fouls on the Giants, one for roughing the passer after a late hit on Dak Pescott and one pass interference on CeeDee Lamb, but Lamb reacts by laughing at the defensive back and that draws a taunting flag.

So the penalties offset, which I feel is always a bad rule, and instead of a big gain for Dallas they simply replay third down. Tough break.

  2. Almost a way back for the Titanspublished at 19:13 BST 14 September

Los Angeles Rams 10-3 Tennessee Titans

Almost a very timely touchdown for Titans as Chimere Dike runs 43 yards on a returned punt and gets all the way to the end zone.

An illegal blindside block, however, cancels out the touchdown for the hosts.

  3. touchdown

    Malik NabersImage source, Getty Images

Russell Wilson fires a 29-yard touchdown throw to Malik Nabers - who takes a brilliant leaping, diving catch and lands inside the end zone.

Second year receiver Nabers looks like an absolute monster, so hard to cover, with great hands and takes so many highlight reel catches, much like another former Giants - Odell Beckham Jr.

  4. Interception!published at 19:08 BST 14 September

    Pittsburgh Steelers 6-7 Seattle Seahawks

Aaron Rodgers almost threw a pick on Pittsburgh's last drive, but Sam Darnold did on Seattle's next possession as the Steelers take over again in good field position and looking to take the lead before half-time.

  5. field goal

Field goal - Patriotspublished at 19:06 BST 14 September

New England Patriots 15-7 Miami Dolphins

Drake Maye cannot get over the line following three attempts at goal from 10 yards.

They opt to to take the field goal option with less than two minutes remaining in the half and from 22 yards, Andres Borregales makes it count this time after missing two extra point attempts.

The Dolphins have faced 10 drives from opponents this season. All 10 have resulted in scores.

  6. ouch!

Joe Burrow out of the gamepublished at 19:06 BST 14 September

    Jacksonville Jaguars 14-7 Cincinnati Bengals

Uh oh! Josh Allen may be alright, but it looks a bit more serious for Joe Burrow as he ambles off the field and into the blue medical tent after going down for the sack under pressure from about four Jagurs.

It's hard to see exactly what the problem is but he doesn't look good as he heads to the sideline. Jake Browning in at quarterback for the Bengals.

  7. touchdown

Touchdown - Billspublished at 19:03 BST 14 September

Buffalo Bills 20-0 New York Jets

What a play! Take a bow James Cook as he's scored possibly the touchdown of the night as he cuts back one way then the next, shaking off tacklers looking for an angle, and then exploding through a gap and racing away 44 yards for his second TD of the night.

He won't score a better one.

  8. touchdown

Touchdown - Jaguarspublished at 18:59 BST 14 September

    Jacksonville Jaguars 14-7 Cincinnati Bengals

Jacksonville raised a bit of an eyebrow when trading away running back Tank Bigsby during the week, now we know why as rookie rusher Bhayshul Tuten throws in a beautiful sidestep to dance in to the end zone from eight yards out after a shor tpass from Trevor Lawrence.

Looks like it's Tuten time for the Jags!

  9. Allen back inpublished at 18:56 BST 14 September

Buffalo Bills 13-0 New York Jets

    Josh AllenImage source, Getty Images

Josh Allen is back in the game for Buffalo, with some gauze stuffed up his nose to stem some bleeding from that hit earlier.

And Allen did enough to get Matt Prater just about in range to hit a 52 yarder and extend the lead to 13.

  10. field goal

    Field goal - 49erspublished at 18:56 BST 14 September

San Francisco 49ers 9-0 New Orleans Saints

San Francisco 49ers kicker Eddy Pineiro is probably still frustrated at his missed extra-point from earlier on.

He does make good on a 44-yard field goal though as the 49ers extend their lead to nine.

  11. field goal

Field goal - Ramspublished at 18:54 BST 14 September

Los Angeles Rams 10-3 Tennessee Titans

Matthew Stafford simply cannot get it to go for the Los Angeles Rams.

He has three passing attempts into the end zone for a 14-3 lead, but all three go incomplete.

Joshua Karty does split the posts with his 21-yard field goal attempt to restore a seven-point lead for the Rams.

  12. Fumble!published at 18:51 BST 14 September

    Chicago Bears 7-14 Detroit Lions

D'Andre Swift coughs up possession for Chicago with a fumble at the end of a run, so Detroit get the ball back on the turnover right at the end of the first quarter.

  13. touchdown

Touchdown - Ravenspublished at 18:51 BST 14 September

    Cleveland Browns 0-10 Baltimore Ravens

Tylan Wallace has the Baltimore Ravens' first touchdown in the battle of the NFC North.

He takes a 16-yard pass from Lamar Jackson to extend the Raves' lead over the Browns.

Tyler Loop's extra-point attempt is good, with a number of kickers struggling throughout today's matches early on.

  14. Dak sacked as Dallas deniedpublished at 18:48 BST 14 September

New York Giants 6-0 Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys are having a tough old day in New York. They've had just over three minutes of possession and as yet haven't made a single first down!

The natives will start getting restless soon in Dallas if this continues...

  15. touchdown

Touchdown - Lionspublished at 18:46 BST 14 September

    Chicago Bears 7-14 Detroit Lions

David Montgomery runs it up the gut from a yard out to punch in a second touchdown of the game for Detroit. The Lions' running back tandem caused havoc last year, and they've scored a touchdown each already tonight.

  16. touchdown

Touchdown - Dolphinspublished at 18:45 BST 14 September

New England Patriots 12-7 Miami Dolphins

Tua Tagovailoa's pass finds the run of Jaylen Waddle from 18 yards and the Dolphins' fightback is under way.

Waddle took four receptions last weekend against the Colts and his first today is a scoring one.

Unlike the Patriots' two attempts so far, Riley Patterson is good for the extra point.

  17. ouch!

Josh Allen outpublished at 18:44 BST 14 September

Buffalo Bills 10-0 New York Jets

A big worry for the Buffalo Bills as Josh Allen comes out of the game in New York with what looks like a head injury - with Mitch Trubisky stepping in under centre.

It looks like a nose injury for Allen after he smaked his face into another player as he dived forward on a tough run up the middle.

  18. touchdown

Touchdown - Bengalspublished at 18:43 BST 14 September

    Jacksonville Jaguars 7-7 Cincinnati Bengals

Is Ja'Marr Chase the best receiver in the NFL? He had the most recieving yard, catches and touchdowns last season os it's hard to argue.

The Jags can't cover him anyway as he scores a one-yard touchdown to level things up in Cincy, with Joe Burrow driving 80 yards after Trevor Lawrence was picked off in the end zone.

  19. field goal

Field goal - Titanspublished at 18:42 BST 14 September

Los Angeles Rams 7-3 Tennessee Titans

The Los Angeles Rams' lead is cut to four points.

Joey Slye with a 55-yard field goal opens the scoring for the Titans.

  20. field goal

Field goal - Steelerspublished at 18:40 BST 14 September

    Pittsburgh Steelers 6-7 Seattle Seahawks

Jalen Ramsey comes up with the interception for Pittsburgh but they can only get another Chris Boswell field goal to show for it - again from 48 yards.
