And again, a holding penalty on the Jaguars defence on the following play after Caleb Williams had to throw it away. This time it not only lets Chicago off the hook but gives them a first down.

Doug Pederson must be going nuts on the sidelines with all these errors.

  2. Huge flag!published at 16:34 British Summer Time 13 October

    Jacksonville Jaguars 10-21 Chicago Bears

Uh oh! That's really ugly from the Jags as the pass rushers manage to sack Caleb Williams again for a loss of 14 yards and on third down it will force a punt.

BUT they've got 12 men on the field and the penalty sees the Bears escape. Such a massive fundamental error has just killed the Jags here.

Caleb Williams goes down for the loss of four yards to leave the Bears with a second and 14.

Marcedes Lewis - the 40-year-old tight end drafted 19 years ago by the Jacksonville Jaguars, collects a short pass for a first down for Chicago.

Some career Lewis has had and he's still catching passes.

Trevor Lawrence had a big missed throw and we talk about elite players - only a few plays come in a game where you can take advantage of it and he missed that.

But he came back with a vengeance, he didn't let it get to him.

That's what you want to see from Trevor Lawrence - do not get rattled by your circumstances, come back and make some big-time throws - and he did that on this drive.

Finally the Jaguars fans have something to cheer as Trevor Lawrence finds Gabe Davis in the end zone and this time the wide receiver holds on for the touchdown.

They've been kept quiet for large parts of this match since the early stages but their team are now right back in this match.

  7. Trevor passing the testpublished at 16:29 British Summer Time 13 October

    Jacksonville Jaguars 10-21 Chicago Bears

That's such an impressive drive from Trevor Lawrence - not just the 11 plays and 70 yards but the character he showed even during that drive.

It was a big miss with an underthrown pass missing a potential touchdown, but he kept on moving and throwing darts and the final pass to Gabe Davis was top drawer.

  8. touchdown

Just what the Jags needed as Trevor Lawrence rolls out to his left then fires a strike to the corner of the end zone to Gabe Davis for a 21-yard touchdown.

That's the former Buffalo Bills receiver's first TD for the Jaguars - and what a time to get it as he drags Jacksonville back into this game.

  9. Great defencepublished at 16:24 British Summer Time 13 October

    Jacksonville Jaguars 3-21 Chicago Bears

Brilliant pass defence from Kevin Byard as he leaps up and tips the ball away from Brenton Strange in the end zone as the Jags tight end was waiting to collect a touchdown pass.

TJ Edwards manages to break up a long pass for Brian Thomas with his backside as the ball is underthrown pretty emphatically by Trevor Lawrence.

Edwards has to be careful chasing down the receiver while not looking at the ball, but just putting himself in the way did the trick there.

Caleb Williams has got a big-time arm and he's finding big-time throws, finding his veteran guys that he trusts.

This was a detrimental turnover for Jacksonville. The Bears have scored a touchdown and they're now down big - can they find a spark to get back?

  13. Pressure piling uppublished at 16:18 British Summer Time 13 October

    Jacksonville Jaguars 3-21 Chicago Bears

While Caleb Williams is striding up and down the benches handing out high-fives to his team-mates following that third TD - Trevor Lawrence jogs out onto the field needing to produce something special here as the pressure mounts.

Doug Pederson was already on the hot seat and now the Jags are in danger of getting blown out - they simply have to make a game of this.

Caleb Williams is proving DJ Moore right here. I spoke to the Chicago receiver recently and he said he reckons the new-look Bears will claim at least 10 wins this season - and that Williams is destined for greatness.

"It's exciting times for us," he said. "We've got a bunch of new playmakers and a new quarterback. He had a stigma of being some kind of diva [at college], living in LA and all of that, but when you get to know him he's just one of us.

"He came in and got his head, asking a lot of questions to get up to speed. He's got some learning to do. He's a rookie so there are going to be some ups and downs with him. But I know only greatness is coming out of him."

  15. touchdown

Touchdown - Bears!published at 16:13 British Summer Time 13 October

    Jacksonville Jaguars 3-21 Chicago Bears

A third touchdown for the Bears and it's veteran Keenan Allen at the back of the end zone who takes a great catch from a superb arrow of a throw from Caleb Williams - who placed it exactly where he needed to to keep it away from the defender.

The ball had plenty of zip on it too as it needed to - and he tossed that with the confidence of knowing that Allen just doesn't drop those.

  16. Flagpublished at 16:12 British Summer Time 13 October

    Jacksonville Jaguars 3-14 Chicago Bears

Keenan Allen makes a catch and tumbles down on the goal line, but there's a flag thrown and it's against the offence so Chicago back up and the Bears reverse to the 10.

  17. Swift progresspublished at 16:10 British Summer Time 13 October

    Jacksonville Jaguars 3-14 Chicago Bears

Gain of 20 for D'Andre Swift on the short screen pass, with just a blocker needed before he's into the second level and heading close to the end zone.

Chicago down to the five-yard line.

  18. Postpublished at 16:08 British Summer Time 13 October

    Jacksonville Jaguars 3-14 Chicago Bears

Chicago Bears head coach Matt Eberflus, speaking to Sky Sports before the start of the third quarter:

"It [the last drive of the first half] was great - great execution by the offence and some good explosive passes in there.

"We've got to honour the football on both sides, do a good job on third down and play good situational football."

  19. First downpublished at 16:07 British Summer Time 13 October

Nice third down conversion for Chicago with Caleb Williams firing a thunderbolt across the middle to veteran Keenan Allen - who inevitably takes the catch.

Allen's been making those type of touch catches for years and not many receivers have hands as good as his. Another big-time throw as well with two defenders converging on him.

  20. Turnover - Bears get it!published at 16:04 British Summer Time 13 October

    Jacksonville Jaguars 3-14 Chicago Bears

Evan Engram catches the ball but it's punched out again by Chicago - this time TJ Edwards with the 'Peanut Punch' and this time it's not coming back as that's a clear catch and fumble.

That's just a huge play for the momentum of this game - just when the Jags will have wanted to settle into the half and generate some points, it's ripped away from them immediately.
