  1. Chiefs aiming to become 'world's team'published at 21:33 GMT 27 November

The Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Chargers in the opening international game of the season in Brazil. They also staged events in the host city of every other international game this season - including Dublin and London - and could be playing there soon themselves.

And as well as playing in the second game of tonight's Thanksgiving triple-header, they'll be playing on Christmas Day too.

Chiefs co-owner Clark Hunt said earlier on Sky Sports: "We love the opportunity to play in prime-time whenever we can.

"We really leaned into the NFL's global markets programme and we hope we're back overseas very soon.

"The Cowboys may be known as 'America's Team' but we have an ambition to be the world's team."

Jordan Love spread the ball around more than he has since the Packers lost [tight end] Tucker Kraft to injury and he did it so well.

When they play like that he has a multitude of weapons and it's a tough offence to stop when they get rolling and get confidence.

The Dallas Cowboys have hosted on Thanksgiving since 1966, with this a 58th holiday game for America's Team - who hold a 34-22-1 record.

It's an 11th Thanksgiving game for the Kansas City Chiefs (5-5) and the first since 2006 - and the stakes could hardly be higher as it's a must-win for both sides.

They're both down in 10th spot in their respective Conference play-off standings so both the 6-5 Chiefs and 5-5-1 Cowboys have very little margin for error.

Big things are always expected of Dallas, while with the Chiefs making five of the last six Super Bowls, winning three, not making the play-offs would be a huge upset.

But someone's going to be fearing the worst come full-time.

Jordan Love, Micah Parsons and some of their Green Bay team-mates are now tucking into the Thanksgiving turducken.

Speaking to Erin Andrews of Fox, Parsons says "Jordan was on fire all night. We got a chance to finish the game and we did what we do best."

Game MVP Love added: "It's special. It's a big-time stage and to come out here and get a win, I'm grateful to all these guys. Now we've just got to keep rolling."

Unbelievable throw and catch off his back foot. He can't be any tighter to Wicks than that. What a catch to seal the game.

Good for the Packers, going on the road in a tight environment - they answered the bell.

Matt LeFleur was aggressive from the start and he stayed that way until the end, including a gutsy fourth down call to finish this game off.

Jordan Love threw four touchdowns, tied with Brett Favre for the most by a Packers quarterback on Thanksgiving, with Dontayvion Wicks catching two of them as part of his six catches for 94 games - including a brilliant grab to seal the win.

Josh Jacobs ran for 83 hard yards and Micah Parsons had 2.5 sacks - including a crucial late one to stop Detroit from scoring a touchdown.

Jared Goff recovered from a slow start to pass for 256 yards and two touchdowns and Jameson Williams really stepped up after Amon-Ra St Brown's injury with 144 yards receiving and a touchdown.

But in the end the Lions just came up short as Green Bay take the Thanksgiving spoils.

  9. Wow! That's the gamepublished at 21:17 GMT 27 November

Green Bay Packers 31-24 Detroit Lions

Incredible! Jordan Love swarmed by a pass rush, so has to just get rid of it quickly, and hangs it up for Dontayvian Wicks who makes an absurd catch under all kinds of pressure!

He's had a great game so only right that Wicks takes the catch to ice the game.

The Packers will take the win back to Green Bay.

  11. Dropped!published at 21:15 GMT 27 November

Green Bay Packers 31-24 Detroit Lions

The Packers throw it, with Jordan Love hitting Christian Watson, but Brian Branch is there to break it up.

Green Bay are shaping up like they're going for it on fourth down instead of punting it away. Pretty much in midfield so a short field for Detroit if they don't get it.

    Brave call.

  12. Two-minute warningpublished at 21:12 GMT 27 November

Green Bay Packers 31-24 Detroit Lions

Green Bay let the clock run down for the two-minute warning and the game will be on the line when we return.

No time out left for Detroit, so three yards to gain for the Packers and that will kill off this contest.

  13. Postpublished at 21:10 GMT 27 November

Green Bay Packers 31-24 Detroit Lions

Another short run from Josh Jacobs and the Lions burn their final time out.

It's so tactical when it comes to the final few minutes in the NFL, all about clock managment, time outs left and how to finish off this game for the win.

  14. First downpublished at 21:09 GMT 27 November

Green Bay Packers 31-24 Detroit Lions

Two runs from Green Bay, two time outs by Detroit and the Packers still need five yards on third down.

But Jordan Love completes it out to Christian Watson down the right sideline to move the chains.

Jake Bates completes the formalities with a field goal from 31 yards to cut the g ap to just seven points with three minutes left to play.

It's all on this next drive then - Jordan Love has the chance to put the game away with a long drive, but expect Detroit to bring the heat on him here.

Ouch, it looks like a nasty one for Packers defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt, who has a team-mate fall on his ankle and his leg bends totally the wrong way under him.

The cart is coming on sadly as the replay shows it was a pretty bad one. Hopefully not too bad but he's off the field.

It just happens so fast - and the explosiveness to finish. Jared Goff thinks he's got some space and then that space is filled with number 1 bearing down on him. What an impact Micah Parsons has had today and this season on this defence. He's an absolute force of nature.

  20. Sack!published at 20:58 GMT 27 November

Green Bay Packers 31-21 Detroit Lions

Micah Parsons again! Two Lions get hands on him but they can't stop him as he then races around some traffic and hammers Jared Goff again for a big loss and the Lions will have to go for the field goal.

That's why they traded the house for him - for big moments like that - game changing moments that special players produce.

    2.5 sacks for Parsons today.
