Sean McVay is an aggressive play caller and he just attacked. The way the Rams went down the field was magnificent.

  2. touchdown

Touchdown - Rams!published at 20:24 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January

Los Angeles Rams 7-6 Philadelphia Eagles

Tight end Tyler Higbee hauls in the grab right at the goal line and manages to just get the ball across the line before his knee touches the ground.

That was a dart from Matthew Stafford into a pretty tight window but that's exactly the big-time throw that he's made his name with.

Great response from the Rams on the road.

  3. Almost picked!published at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January

Los Angeles Rams 0-6 Philadelphia Eagles

The Rams are camped out inside the five-yard line after converting the fourth and short, but Matthew Stafford almost gets intercepted as his second-down throw into the end zone is a risky one into all sorts of traffic.

  4. Stafford striding forwardpublished at 20:21 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January

Los Angeles Rams 0-6 Philadelphia Eagles

Matthew Stafford on the scramble! No, he's definitely no Jalen Hurts but he's as brave as a lion as he rumbles down the field looking for a first down - diving head first to the marker but just coming up half a yard short.

That's about the longest five-yard run play you'll see in a while.

  5. No-look pass!published at 20:19 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January

Los Angeles Rams 0-6 Philadelphia Eagles

Matthew Stafford pulls out the no-look pass over the middle to Puka Nacua for 17 yards. Stafford did that in the Super Bowl so no surprise he's brave enough to 'give them the eyes' here in Philly.

  6. Record-breakingpublished at 20:18 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January

Los Angeles Rams 0-6 Philadelphia Eagles

44 - Jalen Hurts' early touchdown is the longest run of his entire career
  7. Big runpublished at 20:18 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January

Los Angeles Rams 0-6 Philadelphia Eagles

He may not be Saquon Barkley, but Kyren Williams has got wheels as well as he shows by bursting throw the tackles for a 20-yard run right up the middle to get into Eagles territory.

  8. It's a catch!published at 20:17 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January

Los Angeles Rams 0-6 Philadelphia Eagles

The call is reversed, which the Philly faithful are less than happy about. These Eagles fans are a rowdy lot and they take no prisoners - they once booed Santa Claus!

  9. Quick three-and-out?published at 20:15 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January

Los Angeles Rams 0-6 Philadelphia Eagles

Matthew Stafford is almost picked off on his first throw of the game, and on third down it looks like the drive is over when a low pass to Tyler Higbee is judged to have gone incomplete - but Rams head coach Sean McVay isn't happy with that call and throws the red challenge flag.

Time to play catch or no catch?

  10. 'I can't believe it'published at 20:14 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January

Los Angeles Rams 0-6 Philadelphia Eagles

    Greg Brady
NFL pundit on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Jalen Hurts is such a threat – you have to pay attention

That was the longest rush of his career there at 44 yards – I can’t believe that!

He gets a lot of rushing touchdowns but they’re often from one or two yards in.

Now the Rams have to answer.

  11. Stafford shines in the play-offspublished at 20:11 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January

The Eagles are in front but the Rams have a Super Bowl winner at quarterback - so Matthew Stafford knows how to get the job done, as he's 5-1 in the play-offs since moving to Los Angeles.

He also ranks fourth all time with 297 yards per game in the post-season, so Stafford against the top defence in the league will be a huge battle in this game.

For Jalen Hurts to have this massive designed quarterback run early on, sometimes that helps settle you in these big moments. Especially if you've not played for a week and Saquon Barkley has had such a big role lately.

  13. touchdown

Touchdown - Eagles!published at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January

Los Angeles Rams 0-6 Philadelphia Eagles

What a start! Jalen Hurts on the QB keeper and he bursts through the line with nobody waiting in the secondary so he can scamper 44 yards for the opening touchdown of the game.

Saquon Barkley ran left, but Hurts kept the ball and ran to the right, he breaks two tackles and from then on nobody was going to stop him as he records the longest run of his career.

Hurst scored 14 rushing touchdowns in the regular season - a lot of those from close range but he's just showed he's got wheels when he gets out in the open field.

The only downside is Jake Elliott misses the extra point.

Saquon Barkley has been unstoppable this season, as the Rams have experienced first hand, but can they limit him tonight?

  15. Solid startpublished at 20:06 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January

Los Angeles Rams 0-0 Philadelphia Eagles

First play of the day isn't a hand-off to Saquon Barkley but a pass out to tight end Dallas Goedert for 14 yards and first down. Watch out for the stiff arm on Goedert.

DeVonta Smith then takes a short catch over the middle before we get the first sight of Saquon Barkley with a couple of runs, the second of which results in another first down.

  16. Kick-offpublished at 20:04 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January

Los Angeles Rams 0-0 Philadelphia Eagles

We're off in Philly and it's Jalen Hurts and the Eagles who will have the ball first.

  17. Should Eagles fans be concerned about Hurts?published at 20:03 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January

It's a concern (lack of yards in Wild Card round), I don't like how he's seeing the field. But he can make it right tonight. When they try to stop the run, he's got to make sure he makes the one-on-ones outside.

  18. Postpublished at 20:03 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley speaking to NBC:

"It's play-off football, we're at thome and the energy is amazing.

"We know they're going to come out with something, especially given how much success we had last time. But at the end of the day we've got to stick to our assignments and adjust to what they're doing. When we play our football we're hard to beat."
