This looked like it could be a blowout when the Jaguars raced into a 17-0 lead but the Texans have showed fight to get back into it.

The Texans were very much the makers of their own downfall early doors with special teams mishaps being a big reason for the Jaguars' hefty lead.

A touchdown run in the second quarter from Woody Marks gave them belief and a pick from Derek Stingley Jr with the final play of the first half means this one is far from over.

  2. touchdown

Wow! What a start to the second half from the Patriots and what a touchdown run from running back TreVeyon Henderson.

The 23-year-old showed his wheels on that one! He burnt the Bucs defence.

  5. Sunday's big early storylinespublished at 19:39 GMT 9 November

Bills being blown out in Miami

So who'd have thought this? Buffalo just beat the Chiefs and have six straight wins over Miami - who have just two wins this season.

BUT, this is the NFL so maybe we shouldn't be surprised the Dolphins are winning at half-time, but winning 16-0? That's the real shock right now.

    Pats lead Tom Brady derby

A big one in Tampa with the 6-2 Bucs hosting the 7-2 Pats in the battle of Tom Brady's former teams.

Tampa Bay made a flying start but the New England Patriots have battled back into the game and lead the Bucs after scoring a touchdown on the stroke of half-time.

New England get the ball to start the second half as well.

    Vikings bottling up Baltimore

It's a tough one in Minnesota where the hosts lead 10-9 thanks mainly to their defence that's managed to keep the Ravens out of the end zone so far.

Derrick Henry has just 33 yards rushing and Lamar Jackson has been kept in check with just 102 passing yards and 12 yards on the ground.

The Vikes will want more offence out of JJ McCarthy though as surely the Ravens will start to generate some attack at some point.

The Ravens may well have Lamar Jackson back from injury, but the offense isn't quite clicking at the moment.

Three Tyler Loop field goals mean they trail by a single point, despite Aaron Jones JR getting into the endzone for the Vikings.

You get the feeling there's more drama to come from this one.

  7. Shock on the cards in Carolina?published at 19:35 GMT 9 November

HT: New Orleans Saints 10-7 Carolina Panthers

Not the biggest shock you'll ever see but a shock nonetheless.

The 1-8 New Orleans Saints have a slender lead over the Carolina Panthers at the break.

Rico Dowdle had put the home side in front before Saints responded courtesy of a field goal and a 62-yard Chris Olave touchdown.

The Panthers have struggled offensively and need a spark in the second half.

  8. Patriots edging Bucs in Tampapublished at 19:33 GMT 9 November

This one had been billed as the game of the early slate and though it started off quietly, it has begun to deliver.

Veteran Stefon Diggs and a 72-yard touchdown grab from rookie wide receiver Kyle Williams have turned this game on its head after Emeka Egbuka had given the Buccaneers the lead.

Lots to play for in the second half of this one.

Well who was expecting this then?

For the first time in two years the Buffalo Bills are held pointless in a first half. And it's the 2-7 Miami Dolphins who are keeping them out.

After making an early interception, Tua Tagovailoa enjoyed a solid first half. Will the Dolphins quarterback keep that up in the second half?

  10. touchdown

Woody Marks back in the game after that earlier injury and Woody Marks in the endzone!

Younghoe Koo makes a 32-yard field goal and the Giants go into half-time with a three point lead.

    Wow!

After being shut down three times on the one-yard line, the Patriots go for it on fourth and it pays off.

The Patriots elect to throw with Drake Maye and the young quarterback lofts one to Stefon Diggs who reaches above his man and brings it down in the corner of the endzone with a *chefs kiss* toe-tap.

  18. touchdown

Touchdown - Brownspublished at 19:09 GMT 9 November

Cleveland Browns 14-14 New York Jets

It's turning out to be quite the game in New York for this basement battle - with the Browns levelling things up following Justin Fields throwing his first interception of the season.

Cleveland take advantage immediately as Dillon Gabriel makes a great throw to Jerry Jeudy, who takes an excellent catch for a 22-yard touchdown.

  19. Turnover - Giantspublished at 19:05 GMT 9 November

New York Giants 7-7 Chicago Bears

Cody Bellinger thinks he's hauled in a Jaxson Dart deep pass on fourth and one, but Jaquan Brisker managers to rip the ball out of his hands on the way down.

The Bears take over on downs.
